Event number 7 of FTOPS Results
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series VI has so far been very successful and the $1 million guaranteed event was no exception. 4,475 players entered the event bringing the prize pool up to $1,342,500 guaranteed. Event number 7 was a no-limit hold’em event with a $300 buy-in. With the prize pool being so large it would guarantee the winner almost 250,000 dollars which would be the largest prize for a single player during this past weekend.
This event went off without a hitch while other events earlier in the series were in need of overlays. The number 1 and 3 events which were a $750,000 and a $300,000 guarantee tournaments resulted in small overlays.
The action in the number 7 event was exciting and finally came down to the final table. Nine players were left to duke it out for the wonderful prizes. Heads up play soon began between Braien and crpaint. Crpaint couldn’t get past Braien so he went home in second place with $143,513. Braien took home $237,072 in prize money along with a FTOPS jersey and a new digital jersey for his avatar.
The final results were:
Braien — $237,072
crpaint — $143,513

cmikec — $55,446
